About the design
The hollyhock is a tall flower with rounded petals. In some Asian cultures, this flower is a symbol of fruitfulness. The hollyhock has inspired Kazuo Koike’s Lone Wolf and Cub as well as Frank Lloyd Wright’s home designed for Aline Barnsdall in Los Angeles in the 1920s, aptly named Hollyhock House.
