How to Choose a Customized Filter

Even without a customized filter, the MinusA2 air purifier can trap most airborne pollutants, common household allergens, and odors. However, Rabbit Air developed a series of customized filters to target specific areas of concern for our customers. These custom filters can enhance the overall system effectiveness on common household allergen, odor, and chemical removal.

Germ Defense^‡ Filter

Physically traps airborne Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae bacteria, airborne A. niger mold spores, and particles that carry MS2 viruses²

Toxin Absorber Filter

Traps and adsorbs volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other airborne chemicals.

Pet Allergy Filter

Captures pet dander¹ and physically traps other common household allergens.

Odor Remover Filter

Traps and adsorbs odors from pets, cigarettes and cigars, cooking, and mildew.

1. Allergen capture claims are based on independent chamber testing conducted by Airmid Healthgroup laboratories (Report ASCR: 1688-01), which demonstrated the effective mechanical reduction of specific airborne allergens, including cat dander (Fel d 1) and house dust mite matter (Der p 1).

2. Airborne Capture Testing: Independent laboratory chamber testing demonstrates a 99.9% or greater mechanical reduction of specific airborne micro-organisms at the highest fan setting. Microbial capture efficiency testing conducted by Intertek Laboratories (Report #105550219COL-001) demonstrated a 99.9% mechanical removal of airborne MS2 virus-carrying particles and Aspergillus niger mold spores within 45 to 60 minutes. Additional testing conducted by SGS Laboratories (Report #QDF26-0040488-01) utilizing test standard AHAM AC-5-2023 confirmed a >99.9% mechanical reduction of airborne Staphylococcus aureus bacteria and Klebsiella pneumoniae bacteria. These results demonstrate the physical removal of airborne contaminants from a controlled test chamber; real-world performance may vary.
