Select Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA under Payment after you entered Your Contact & Shipping Information.
Check the box to agree to the Authorization and Consent Form and begin a short medical consultation to confirm eligibility.
Pay with your HSA/FSA card, or use a personal card and get reimbursed. You'll receive an itemized receipt and Letter of Medical Necessity by email.

An air purifier is considered a "dual-purpose" item that has both medical and general uses. To be HSA/FSA-eligible, it must be medically necessary and prescribed by a doctor.
Air purifiers are currently eligible, and filters may become eligible in the future.
Yes, once you complete the physician consultation, you will see a payment section for the air purifier where you can use your HSA or FSA card, and a separate section for non-qualified items that can be paid with a credit or debit card.
Not at all—Flex makes repeat purchases simple and hassle-free! Just enter the same email address you used for your first air purifier at checkout and choose the Flex payment option. Flex will recognize your email and automatically approve your purchase based on your original consultation—valid for one full year from that date.
To ensure your purchase is properly linked to the doctor consultation, you'll just need to place a new order using the Flex checkout option. Once that's done, we can issue a refund for the original non-HSA/FSA order—no problem at all!
Currently, split payments aren't supported due to the doctor consultation needed to activate payment. However, you can easily pay the full amount with your HSA/FSA card at checkout and then pay a partial amount with your credit card directly to us. We'll promptly refund the desired portion back to your HSA/FSA card, making the process smooth and flexible for you.
Yes! Just like any other payment method, refunds are issued back to the original form of payment.
No worries at all! If you've misplaced your letter, simply email support@withflex.com and they'll be happy to send you a new copy.
Please check your spam folder, as sometimes emails from notifications@withflex.com may be automatically filtered as spam by some email service providers. If you still can't find it, please email support@withflex.com and let them know the email address associated with your order.
This may be due to a few reasons. Make sure your payment was for an air purifier, not filters or accessories, as those aren't eligible. Also, check that you're entering your HSA/FSA card in the correct payment field, not the Credit/Debit Payment one. If everything seems correct, contact your FSA plan provider using the info on the back of your card or your employer's benefits site. An alternative option is to use your credit or debit card and request reimbursement by submitting the itemized receipt along with a Letter of Medical Necessity.
