Rabbit Air products are FSA Eligible!
What does that mean? A FSA account (Flex Spending Account) is used to pay for out-of-pocket medical expenses, such as air purifiers, that are not covered by health insurance.
How is Rabbit Air FSA Eligible?
Medical purchases are categorized as eligible, dual-purpose and ineligible. Dual-purpose is a special category of products that have a medical purpose, as well as a personal hygiene, cosmetic or general health purpose. This is where Rabbit Air fits in. Since an air purifier can be used for many applications, in order for it to be considered eligible, they must be proven to treat a specific medical condition and therefore must be prescribed by a physician. These purchases cannot be made with a FSA Debit Card.
How do I pay for a Rabbit Air purifier?
- Visit your doctor and ask for a prescription for a HEPA air purifier.
- Purchase your Rabbit Air purifier with your own payment method, such as a credit card.
- Submit your doctor prescription along with your Rabbit Air purchase receipt to FSA for reimbursement.
**Please retrieve a doctor prescription within 45 days of the purchase whether it is before or after to be eligible for reimbursement.
