Advanced HEPA Filtration Technology
Higher than 99% effective at trapping particles less than 0.1 microns3
What is HEPA?
HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air. One of the only filtration technologies capable of removing even the smallest particles, HEPA filters are commonly used in controlled environments around the world, including hospital operating rooms, ICUs and incubators, and even medical laboratories and other high-tech research and manufacturing facilities.

Why Is BioGS HEPA filtration better?
Our advanced BioGS HEPA filtration system builds and improves on the traditional HEPA—composed of an electrostatic-charged proprietary fiber material, it removes over 99.99% of airborne particles as small as 0.01 microns3. Unlike traditional HEPA filters that might allow the growth of bacteria and viruses over time, our BioGS HEPA filters trap and reduce common allergens1 and bacteria2 trapped on the filter to support optimum filter efficiency and prolong filter life.

Features | BioGS HEPA Filter | Typical HEPA Filter |
---|---|---|
Traps 99.97% of 0.3 micron airborne particles and achieves over 99.99% removal of 0.01 micron particles3 | Yes | Yes |
Traps & reduces common allergens on the filter1 | Yes | No |
Traps & reduces the growth of bacteria and viruses on the filter2 | Yes | No |
Prolongs optimal filter efficiency | Yes | No |
How does it filter?
In addition to the four standard trapping mechanisms of conventional HEPA filters, our BioGS filter adds another: electrostatic attraction. This advanced mechanism ensures the highest performance for even for the smallest particles.

Measured Performance
Rabbit Air's purifiers all use BioGS HEPA filters. Independent test shows our air purifier quickly reduces a plethora of pollutants from the air in a room.
