At Rabbit Air, we are concerned, not only with the quality of the air inside your home, but also the air outdoors. A few weeks ago, Rabbit Air employees participated in a tree planting project hosted by Tree People. Four of our team members ventured out to Sun Valley, California, where 27 trees were being planted in a neighborhood that was under construction for a new sewer drain system to prevent flooding. Our group selected a sycamore which we named Roots and happily introduced to the Sun Valley soil.
Nanotechnology study of matter that is roughly 100 nanometers or smaller (a nanometer is one billionth of a meter).
What are some products that use nanotechnology?Sunscreen, makeup, stain-resistant clothing, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, refrigerators, air conditioners, air purifiers, and many more.
What applications does it have for an air purifier?Nanotechnology manipulates components within such a small scale, which makes it a superior method of attacking bacteria in the air. Used by NASA to purify water on space missions, Nano Silver ions have been proven to sterilize over 650 types of bacteria. Besides allergy and asthma control, air purifiers are also used to protect newborn babies and others with compromised immune systems by reducing allergy germs and bacteria. Nano Silver helps remove harmful particles from the air that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
Is nanotechnology safe?Questions have been raised about the health and environmental effects of nanotechnology, however most concerns are related to the absorption of these particles through living cells, such as in medicine. When used as a sterilizing agent, Nano Silver is an effective and nontoxic method of killing bacteria and providing a shield for our immune systems.
