Rabbit Air is thrilled to reveal a collection featuring designs inspired by works from contemporary artists. So far, 3 of the artists have been revealed and over the next few months, we will announce additional works from artists to showcase on our air purifiers. This unique partnership strives to present new viewpoints to our astute customers and with this effort, we seek to applaud the vibrant and compelling works of emerging artists whose creative excellence is poised to make a lasting impact on the world.
Monica Bond "Arance di Santa"
Rabbit Air’s inaugural collaboration was with the talented artist, Monica Bond. Originating from New York, Bond seamlessly combines analog and digital techniques, crafting profound art that mirrors a fusion of language and imagination. Her distinctive front panel was available from September 8 to November 30, 2023.
“Being mother to three wonderful daughters is itself an exercise in filtration—like Rabbit Air's high-tech air filter, I try my best to blend style with functionality. When I was asked to create the art for its front panel, I wanted to express freshness and life. There's a moment when an object, a thing you purchase, enters the home and becomes yours. Seeing my art as an integrated element, especially one that offers cleanliness and protection, softens that transition as it also radiates the love I have for my family.”
Maggie Stephenson “Sumatra”
The second artist in the collaboration is Maggie Stephenson, a Polish-German illustrator, based in Florida, whose work uses vibrant colors and rich textures and plays with shapes. Her unique front panel will be available from November 1 to December 31, 2023.
“I am a firm believer that a clean, vibrant space is just as important as a refreshed mind. Having a stylish purifier by my side that helps trap particles and allergens within my space, gives me the peace of mind to breathe and create with ease and comfort. Collaborating with Rabbit Air has been a pure pleasure. I hope this art piece makes you smile and reminds you to connect with nature and enjoy the beauty it has to offer. ”
Stephenson’s original artwork, Sumatra, was inspired by the large island in western Indonesia, whose dense forest landscape and tropical climate are habitat to many unique species of wildlife and beautiful lush plants. The calming image–of a tiger and a woman reclining on green lotus leaves—aims to have a meditative effect on domestic space. The combination of the naturalistic imagery and effects of air purification are the perfect formula for peace of body and mind.
Melissa Koby “Women’s Day”
The most recent artist announced is Melissa Koby, a Jamaican born, Tampa based Illustrator. She illustrates digitally and also uses analogue techniques (line drawing and acrylic painting) in some of her work. Her unique front panel features her original artwork, titled Women’s Day. “This piece is the epitome of what my artwork is inspired by—a diverse representation of women, supporting and uplifting each other. Koby’s design, featuring an intimate group of women and a glowing full moon, will be available from November 16, 2023, to January 21, 2024.
“I want everyone to be able to enjoy the warmth and vibrancy of my work as well as to be able to see themselves reflected, regardless of skin tone,” she says. "I have young toddlers and two cats and am always worried about dust and allergens. I have been searching for the perfect air purifier for months and this wonderful opportunity came along—to be able to have my artwork featured on something my home needs is amazing!"
