Love Your Heart
February is American Heart Health Month and whether that means mending a broken one, celebrating a full one, or watching your cholesterol, it’s always good to take a step back and think about that hollow muscular organ that keeps life running through us.
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has a number of tips for taking care of your cardiovascular system and preventing what is now the number one cause of death for both men and women in the United States. The suggestions—eating foods low in saturated fat, maintaining a healthy weight, exercising regularly, avoiding cigarettes—might seem like old news; we all know that heart attack prevention is not a new topic, but take the time this month to really stop and think about whether or not your heart is at its optimum health.
Beat the Weather
For those caught in the worst of winter at the moment, you’re on our minds! The EPA has a number of helpful suggestions of ways to weather the weather, such as winterizing your vehicle, installing a programmable thermostat, and keeping a stash of rechargeable batteries in case of a power outage.

Our Good Design Award
We have some good news!
Rabbit Air's BioGS 2.0 has received a Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. Over 700 new products and graphic designs were selected from more than 38 countries from Europe, Asia, and the Americas. On March 15, The Chicago Athenaeum and the European Centre will present an exhibition of all award-winning products, including the BioGS 2.0, at the historic GOOD DESIGN show during the 2014 International Housewares Show in Chicago.
