Light-Activated Sleep Mode
The light sensor detects the brightness in a room and adjusts accordingly. The unit automatically switches to sleep mode when a room has been dark for three minutes. In Sleep mode, the unit operates at an ultra quiet level while still maintaining optimum efficiency. It turns itself back to Auto Mode after the lights are detected.

Germ Defense Filter:

Our kids spend most of their time at home, and it is important that the air inside is clean and fresh. In their first years, children experience rapid growth and development, and their immune systems are vulnerable.

The Germ Defense filter is specially engineered to effectively trap and destroy bacteria, mold and viruses. By destroying these germs, it lowers the chance of your baby and kids being infected. Please see the test result below for details.

Pet Allergy Filter:

Of the many animal allergies, dog and cat allergies are the most prevalent. It is not the cat or dog hair itself that causes the allergy, but the old skin cells (dander) that are constantly being shed. Allergic individuals may produce allergy antibodies when exposed to a protein found in cat hair roots and cats' salivary glands. The allergy antibodies cause mast cells to release histamine, exploding "allergy bombs" in the body.

The Pet Allergy Filter is specially engineered to effectively trap and destroy pet dander and germs from your pet. By removing these allergens and contaminants, it will help you and your family to relieve your pet allergy symptoms.

Toxin Absorber Filter:

Carpets cover the floors of our homes, business and schools. Over 60% of homes in the U.S. have carpeting. Children play for hours on them, infants crawl on them, new homeowners inhale that 'new-carpet smell' and like many other household products and furnishings, new carpet can be a source of chemical emissions. Some new carpets contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which are released in the form of gas and can have a negative health impact if inhaled. These include toluene, benzene, formaldehyde, ethyl benzene, styrene, acetone and 4-phenylcyclohexene. When exposed to VOCs people may experience a wide range of symptoms that can include nose and throat discomfort, headache, allergic skin reaction, dyspnea (uncomfortable breathing), nausea, fatigue, and dizziness.

In addition to new carpet, new Paints and finishes release VOCs into the air for years after application. The EPA determined that the off-gassing from architectural coatings is estimated to account for about 9% of the VOC emissions from all consumer and commercial products. The Odor Remover filter is specially designed to trap and eliminate odors from pets, cigarettes and cigars, cooking and mildew. The odor remover custom filter made of activated carbon increases the deodorization efficiency of the MinusA2 system by 6%.
