How to adjust MinusA2™ particle sensitivity level?
To adjust MinusA2™ sensitivity level:
- Press and hold the Mode and Speed button until the lights are flashing.
- Press the Mode button to choose sensitivity level.
- Press and hold the Mode and Speed button to save or it will save automatically.
There are three different sensitivity levels:
- Rhythm - Low Sensitivity
- Child - Standard ("Quiet" for model SPA-780A)
- Auto - High Sensitivity
What's the difference between BioGS™ & MinusA2™?
The MinusA2™ has additional unique features. It is wall-mountable, has a mood light, 6 stage purification system, safety design, automatic sleep mode, light sensor, and adjustable sensitivity. Whereas the BioGS has a 4 stage purification system, its HEPA Filter is bio-engineered and is capable of preventing the flu virus and destroying the allergens trapped within the filter. BioGS has a timed program setting, a multi-color front panel, a filter replacement & a cleaning indicator.
What are the benefits of mood lighting?

Yes, MinusA2™ is the only air purifier that is designed for both wall-mount and stand alone.
What's special about MinusA2™ custom filters?
Unlike other air purifiers, the Minus A2 allows the customer to choose an appropriate filter relevant to their needs.
There are 3 types MinusA2™ custom filters. Germ Defender, Toxin Absorber, and Pet Allergy filter. Each of them is designed for specific needs.
- Germ Defender - traps and destroys mold, viruses and bacteria, such as Legionella which may cause pneumonia.
- Toxin Absorber - Eliminates toxic formaldehyde, VOCs & other offgassing. It also traps and destroys mold and viruses.
- Pet Allergy- traps and destroy pet dander and germs from your pet such as influenza virus & bacteria.
Is MinusA2™ effective against allergens?
Yes, MinusA2™ is very effective against allergens. MinusA2™ uses the HEPA filter, which traps 99.97% of airborne allergens down to 0.3 micron in size.
Is A2 more expensive to operate?
No, MinusA2™ SPA-700A only consumes 8 watts at minimum, and 47 watts at maximum speed. MinusA2™ SPA-780A's energy consumption is from 8 - 58 watts. The annual filter replacement cost is only $75.00.
How does MinusA2™ clean the air?
The MinusA2™ has a 6 stage air purification system.
- The first stage traps large allergens and particles such as hair.
- The second stage destroys mold and bacteria, and traps airborne larger than 1 micron.
- The third stage then traps airborne allergens down to 0.3 micron in size, 99.97% of the time. This stage also eliminates germs & mold.
- The fourth stage of the purification system is the elimination of specific types of viruses, allergens and bacteria. This would depend on the type of filter the customer has chosen to install.
- Fifth stage removes VOCs, and odors, including common household odors.
- Finally, the last stage of the purification system adds the negative ions to the air and facilitates the purification process as well as provides mental nourishment.

Effective coverage area for MinusA2™ SPA-700A is 700 sq. ft. for two air changes per hour, and 815 sq. ft. for model MinusA2™ SPA-780A.
Does MinusA2™ produce ozone?
No, MinusA2™ does not product any ozone.
How often does MinusA2™ filters have to be replaced?
MinusA2™ filters have to be replaced every 12 months. Nano-silver pre-filter is permanent, only cleaning is required.

Why is there a light sensor?
The light sensor is able to detect the brightness in the room and adjust accordingly. When it senses darkness in the room, the unit puts itself into Sleep Mode automatically after 3 minutes. During Sleep Mode, the unit operates at an ultra quiet level whilst still maintaining optimum efficiency. It turns itself back to Auto Mode after the lights are detected.

What is the auto shut-off?
Auto shut-off is a safety feature designed to turn off the unit when the front panel is removed. This feature makes it safe for both babies and pets that may come in contact with the unit.
