MinusA2 6 Stage Filtration

The MinusA2's filtration system is based on a breakthrough technology that employs a 6-stage purification and deodorization system. It traps airborne allergens and contaminants down to 0.3 microns in size 99.97% of the time. Stage 4 includes a customized filter which adds an extra layer of protection against different types of germs, chemicals and allergens. Choose between: Germ Defense, Toxin absorber, or Pet Allergy.

Stage 1 - Pre-Filter

This pre-filter can effectively trap pet hair, large size allergens and dust.

Stage 2 - Medium Filter

The medium filter destroys mold while trapping airborne allergens larger than 1 micron in size such as pollen and pet dander. This filter increases the overall purifying efficiency of the MinusA2 air purifier and extends the life span of the HEPA filter.

Stage 3 - BioGS Signature HEPA Filter

BioGS Signature HEPA filter traps & destroy airborne allergens down to 0.3 micron in size, 99.97% of the time. This filter also reduces mold.

Stage 4 - Custom Filter

You can customize your MinusA2 air purifier by choosing the custom filter that best fits your needs. You have a choice of Germ Defense, Toxin Absorber, and Pet Allergy. Each type of custom filter is specially engineered to trap and destroy different types of germs, chemicals and allergens.
  • Germ Defense Filter - Effectively traps and destroys mold, viruses and bacteria such as Legionella.

  • Pet Allergy Filter - Effectively traps and destroys pet dander and germs from your pet such as influenza virus & bacteria.

  • Toxin Absorber Filter - Eliminates toxic formaldehyde, VOCs & other offgassing from new house materials & furnishings such as carpet & paint.

  • Odor Remover Filter - The Odor Remover filter is specially designed to trap and eliminate odors from pets, cigarettes and cigars, cooking and mildew. The odor remover custom filter made of activated carbon increases the deodorization efficiency of the MinusA2 system to 91%.

Stage 5 - AC Carbon Filter

The activated carbon filter can effectively remove odors, VOCs, and common household odors.

Stage 6 - Negative Ions

Negative Ions facilitate the purification process and are known to improve low energy and depression.
